Cat clothes include such things as tee shirts, tank tops, sweaters, and coats. Sometimes, people even purchase dresses for their cats to wear. In general, cat clothing options are very limited by what the cat will tolerate.
Some cat clothes are very out of the question for most cats. These include hats and wigs. Such items are often used during photoshoots. However, due to the annoyance they can cause to the ears of a cat, most will immediately set to work on destroying such products. If you are considering making such a purchase, it is good to test whether your cat will allow you to place other things on its head before investing the money.
Cat clothes may also actually created for practical use. For instance, plenty of robes are used for warming a cat up after it has been given a bath. Other cats may tolerate rain coats in wet weather. A sphynx cat or another cat with incredibly short fur may benefit from a sweater during cold weather.
