Waterproof dog beds may be created with either waterproof materials or other materials with waterproof coatings. Because dogs come in many different sizes, these items will vary in size as well. There are many different reasons why waterproof dog beds may be desirable. Some people know that their pets are simply just messy. A dog who drools a lot or tends to get water from his or her drinking bowl all over is destined to ruin a bed which is not designed to handle large amounts of moisture or liquids.
